Sweet Little Alien Krispie Treats
Sweet Little Alien Krispie Treats – Unidentified and Fabulous – and ‘O‘ so perfect for Hallowe’en
Hey, friends! Hallowe’en is probably one of the best times in the year to make fun food – but I won’t lie, some of it turns my stomach sometimes. I have a thing about zombies [I hate them]. Anything that resembles rotting flesh or torn limbs and I’m out. I’m all about the pumpkins, rats, cats, bats and spiders, ghosts, monsters, and aliens – and even though I’m a huge fan of the orange and black colour scheme, I think sometimes there’s room for a little bit of pretty too, when it comes to celebrating and Hallowe’en parties.
What You’ll Need to Make Your Alien Krispie Treats
Today I’ve been making these sweet little alien Krispie treats. I love using Rice Krispie treats because they’re so versatile and you can make nearly anything from them. So, to make your party table a little bit pretty this holiday season, here’s how to make your own little aliens – or monsters – it’s up to you what you think they’re best suited as.
- Rice Krispie Squares – I buy mine when they’re on sale for £1 in a pack of 4
- Candy Eyes – Various sizes. I have three different sizes of Wilton eyes, or you can make your own edible eyes.
- Candy Melts – I used PME Bright White ones.
- Oil Based Food Colourings – I used Colour Mill because the colours are always bright and easy to mix.
