MINI SUPERHEROES WEEK
As a paid-in-full member of the three boys club, my learning curve on superheroes has been rather steep. Pre-Jones Boys, I knew nothing of them aside from that I thought Dean Cain made the best Superman [he really did] and that Michael Keaton was not the most suitable Batman I’d ever seen. What did I know, eh? Novice.
This week’s Link Up is at foot of post
I’ve still got a long way to go, but my knowledge base is growing every day thanks to Jens and Yotie…but I’m trying – and we even named our third boy Hero as you know. That’s dedication [although it wasn’t for that reason].
Last week we connected with a really friendly start up called Square Snaps who are about to spend their week celebrating Mini Heroes – our little ones who believe in the power of their superheroes and strive to reenact their adventures for our pleasure [and 18th party/wedding speech ammunition box].
Square Snaps is a super easy photo printing start up company, from London. They offer a fantastic range of photo products which they also actively seek to launch new items every two months. [I love that]. Their website is so easy to use and very intuitive – and thankfully as I have photos everywhere, you can upload from every device you have, and Instagram too!
So, as I said, this week they are celebrating #MiniHeroesWeek to celebrate the release of The Avengers: Age of Ultron film and kicking off by offering 24 free mini-pola snaps [2.6″ x 3″] for the best #MiniHeroesWeek hero photographed in action!
To enter, all you have to do is post your Mini Hero with the hashtag #MiniHeroesWeek on any of your social networks – and you can follow Square Snaps on their Instagram, Facebook and Twitter if you want to follow the action! Square Snaps will pick a winner on May 4th, announcing on May 5th.
I am addicted to graphic novels (and animes) even before I became a mother so I love my super heroes! My fave is Batman. I just love my superheroes to be broody! I wish I can join this as its sounds so fantastic =)
Dean Cain was great as Superman, and I really like Christian Bale as Batman.
I wish I could dress up as a superhero! Fun post and love the costume!
The costume is great the expression is priceless!!
My boys are total super hero junkies! They grew up wearing the costumes daily, watching the cartoons, and now they are totally into the books and comments. We are definitely a super hero loving family! 🙂
I"m like you, I"m learning along the way too about all these super heroes.
I love the celebration though.
I love the idea of Mini Heroes Week, so cute! Before my son, I knew the basics. I've always liked the comic book movies. When my son was three and ALL about Spiderman, I bought a Marvel encyclopedia. Who knew there were SO MANY super heroes? My current favorite is The Arrow. He doesn't need super powers to kick butt, he just has some major skills!
I am a mom of three boys as well. 15, 12 and 48. No they never out grow their Superheros. I too had a nodding acquaintance with superheroes before the boys came along. But now I know more about them than what is going on in Barbies world.
This is so cute. My boys are two and three and are just starting to get into super heros. We are hoping that our oldest is interested in Wolverine since they are both named Logan.

Such a cute idea! I really need to see the first Avengers before I can see the new one. I don't have any kiddos, but I'm sure one of my cousins will be more than willing to dress up as a superhero!
It's great to get involved and learn what it is that our little ones like so much about this or that… 🙂
The mini Heroes week is super !!!
This is a fun idea. Pretty much everybody in my family loves comic books and super hero everything. It started for us with the Marvel movies that have been coming out over the last few years. From their, we looked in to the comic books. It's all great!
How fun!
What a cute idea for a link up. I will have to say that I love the original Batman and Robin. But I do agree with you about Dean Cain.
Aww I missed this. My boys are big super hero fans and of course it is because their dad is! We named our kids after Xmen charactes!
