STAYING SAFE IN THE SUMMER WITH FIREMAN SAM AND CHILD SAFETY WEEK [GIVEAWAY]

Summer is on the horizon and we can’t wait for the holidays to be here already.  It’s also Child Safety Week from 6th-12th June and Fireman Sam has partnered up with the Child Accident Prevention Trust to help make parents and children more aware of the risks and precautions that can be taken to stay safe over the Summer months – because when there’s so much to do and see and you’re little and having fun, sometimes it’s easy to get caught up and forget that we need to be careful, too.  I feel like the most frequently used words in my vocabulary are, “be careful!” and “Go slowly!”

If you know us, you know how we feel about Fireman Sam.  He’s just brilliant – and my boys love seeing him in action on TV.  So when he asked if we could help spread the word about Child Accident Prevention week, we were onboard.

Sam has written ten top tips for staying safe this Summer – are there any you would add?

Fireman Sam’s very own collection of YouTube safety videos is now available so that little ones can see the hero in action, whilst learning how to stay safe in popular Summer predicaments – around the BBQ, around the pool and even splashing in waves.  Sometimes it takes more than mom telling them not to run at the pool – seeing naughty Norman Price getting into trouble always seems to get the message across somehow.
