THE WEEKEND BOX SUBSCRIPTION
The Weekend Box is a fortnightly subscription service for 3-6 year olds, which is full of four crafts to complete. Â This box’s topic was the Aztecs. Â Aztecs equal chocolate.
The tasks are simple enough for little ones to get on with by themselves [besides the hot chocolate] and succeed in completing, and each one is creative enough to engage them for a little while too.  The supplies are basic [except for the feathers for Aztec parrot, those were a luxury item we never expected!] such as string, sugar paper and foam and it made me realise how much can be achieved craft wise with very little supplies – generally if I’m crafting with the boys it involves a £30 trip to our local craft store.
The weekend box costs £3.75 for the first box and £7.50 for a fortnightly delivery thereafter – HOWEVER….  Your first box is free if you use our code SARAJAYNE166!  With the weather as soggy as it is in Hampshire at the moment, and the coughs and colds as rife as they are here too, if you have little ones aged 3-6, snap one up and have fun creating!
Look out for our creations on our Facebook page this week!
Oooh I have just received one of these boxes, look forward to having a look at it tomorrow with my daughter. Thanks for sharing.
The weekend box sounds like fun. I don't think they had anything like this when my kids were young.
These are SO cute! Now I wish my kids were younger lol. My youngest is 6, so these might be a little too young for us. Thanks for sharing!
This looks fun – they never had anything like this when my children were younger but we did have a big craft box and I used to google activities relating to different topics. They loved it and used to learn quite a bit too x x
We've been doing this as well. Both of my children loved having something to do.
I've heard of these boxes but never seen a review for one, I think they are a good idea to have in the cupboard not sure I'd want to sign up to a regular delivery
aw we had one of these boxes a while aho. good one!
This looks like so much fun! I haven't heard of this company before, but it looks like something that would be right up our alley. My daughter's six, will be 7 in June- do you find that they are more suited for younger kids? I know you said they're designed for 4-6 year olds, but I'm curious if they're suited more for the 4 or 5 year olds?
We have a HUGE craft box, so I know I wouldn't need these. However, I understand the value for people that don't.
I'll bet you do! Despite the hundreds of craft items we have, they were excited for this as it had animals all over it and came in little packets!
This looks really interesting. Will take a look.
This is a brilliant idea for the little ones. We didn't have things like this for them when my boys were little, it sure would have been a lifesaver on many a winter afternoon. They need to make them for teenagers, so I can keep them out of my hair now!
Awww these are just so cute! I love the idea of a themed box, it would be great as an educational tool as well as interest kids. They really love cooking, bright colors and all of that stuff. I have never heard of this before and I would definitely check it out! It looks perfect for a rainy day or day snowed in. They would love making this!
What a nice subscription box!!! I love these boxes for the kids is a great project for the weekend when the kids are home from school. I had not heard of The Weekend box before.
I like the idea of this box. Great help and fab source of inspiration.
The weekend box looks great!
Another 6 months and i will be able to enjoy this goody with my little one x
I think I am coming round to yours for the weekend x
We've just received ours, I'm waiting for a quiet day to open it
I am sure the people of NY who are experiencing a snow blizzard would love this to entertain their kiddies. Unfortunately I dont have kids or know any kids between 3-6 to get a subscription myself but its so educational I love the concept! I love learning about new sub boxes so thanks for sharing!
Sounds like a great sub box, never heard of it before but sounds like a great one to keep the little ones busy during these horrid winters when no one can seem to do anything outside. Thanks for sharing this will send to my SIL
This sounds like a great idea for my nieces and nephew! I haven't heard of this subscription box before, but it seems like it would be able to keep my lovelies busy when they're staying by my house. I hate having them glued to the TV. I'll look into these a bit further. Thanks for the share!
This is a box that my daughter would love. I need to sign up for it. I never heard about this subscription box but it's perfect. I wish I had today to keep the kids busy since we are snowed in.
I love doing arts and crafts with my children. This box sounds like a good idea – crafts for the children and hot chocolate for you. That's how it works, right? 😉
I love this idea sounds great for the kids to craft and who doesn't love hot chocolate! Win win. Loving your blog and all your amazing photos hun.
What a fab idea – I am not a craft mum but this makes things a lot easier
The weekend box is such a fab idea. I love that it incorporates arts and crafts for the little ones to make a do too, far better than spending the weekend in front of the TV! I'd love to receive boxes like this when my boy is a bit older, right now he won't stay still long enough to participate in craft time!
W loves 'crafting' so would love a box like this! x
We reviewed these a few years ago – they are such a great idea x
What a great idea to keep kids entertained. We never had these when my girls were small.
