“Nothing.” is not the inspirational answer I hope for each time I ask the mister what he would like for any special occasion…but it’s the one I get, anyway. Buying for him really makes me wish that the phrase, “it’s the thought that counts” was a reality, because if it did, the gifts he eventually…
Did you know that Pampers and UNICEF are halfway to reaching global elimination of Maternal and Newborn Tetanus? We’re honoured to be working with them today to promote and support their work across the globe. I still can’t quite believe that I was lucky enough to bring three magical, healthy babies into this world. Babies bring…
Having been in labour twice, and giving birth once on St. Valentine’s Day, we celebrate the birthdays of two beautiful little boys instead of romance on February 14th [and 15th] in our house. Although there’s no candlelit supper, rose petals or champagne sadly, I do have the most precious memories [the flash-backs of the excruciating pain have stopped,…
Mental Arithmetic. I can still remember the way I felt when I was at school and Friday rolled around, just so I could see how I’d score that week. I haven’t always been brilliant at it, but I guess I’ve always loved maths. When Gav and I met, we spent hours watching Numbers on TV…
So it’s half term thanks to an INSET day to end the week and it’s all kicking off in our house, literally. There’s a huge issue over Trick or Treating. Usually we all dress as the same – last year was Five Nights at Freddy’s and they were Foxy, Chica and Balloon Boy. This year…
Lately the weather here has made me wonder whether I need to be building an arc. Our garden is a mud pit, and going anywhere in the car means battling with Baby Dragon not to nap…because if he does, we’re up until midnight trying to wear him out. So, we’ve largely been housebound with cabin…
My kids would love to visit this!! That looks like an amazing place to visit and camp!
I have never been glamping, but I do like the idea. I think they're too very different things though, and just bc glamping exists.. i don't think people will stop camping. if I want to be a little more comfy while still enjoying nature and the outdoors, i'd love to glamp.. but generally we're backpacking.. and it's just a different type of fun. 🙂
I would be totally up for luxury camping…I am definitely NOT one for the outdoors and 'proper' camping, lol!
I with you. I love rustic camping. Kids running around, getting so filthy dirty and ending the day around a campfire. There is something so fun about it. I'm not sure glamping is my style.
I'm definitely a candidate for luxury camping. I don't like "real" camping at all! I can't understand why someone would actually WANT to have no electricity!
I like both. I miss the traditional camping, but having some comforts can be nice.
What a fun looking time for kids! "Glamping" was a new term to me. Glad I know what it means now. lol
I have never been properly camping before but I think for me camping in a Tent would be fun and close to nature but I am not sure how long I would last.
I think i still would go old school camping. Glamping would also be ok to encourage more kids to do the outdoors.
I am not a camping person. I really hate dealing with bugs, but glamping sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I have been camping. I have never been glamping. I must admit I am sure glamping would win.
These pictures are adorable indeed. I would love to and have loved to rough it. It is a great experience for children too. When we go camping it is with just a tent in the woods around here. It is so much for the kids. Thanks for sharing.
What a cute post and am not really into camping, but prefer some realistic comforts like a warm shower
I love camping (and what they call glamping). We have an rv and love to take it on road trips and camping!
