Sometimes it’s disheartening as a boy momma. It seems sometimes as though the only choices in the high street stores are drab, blue, and covered in trains and the like – and new season’s fashion is considered a new Spiderman pose on a T-shirt. Now, I’m all for superheroes but after purchasing the same set…
Resilience is a key skill in a child’s development and it will give them the opportunity to learn more about who they are and what they want to gain from life. Resilience is also a skill that will be required in any kind of support through school, everyday life, and more. This independent school in…
The teacher (with a new haircut)… The Student… Learning from the teacher… …being watched by the boss.
Ahhh, British Summertime. The time of year when, if I had a pound for the hand of each child I’d held whilst running at Sports day because they were scared, embarrassed, or worried about coming last, I wouldn’t be rich, but I’d feel a whole lot better about making a fool of myself doing it….
In two weeks’ time the Jones family will be spinning their wheels along the motorway on their way up to the Midlands to spend some very special time with my side of the family. It’s my nephew’s birthday, my birthday, my parents’ 40th anniversary [also known as mum wants a medal-iversary] and one of my…
Are you one of those parents who will disguise vegetables in their child’s food to get them to eat something healthy? Do you find yourself saying “just one bite” or “eat it and then you can have…”? Well, you’re not alone…and I’ve taken it to a new low. After buying a carrot and apple smoothie…
My kids would love to visit this!! That looks like an amazing place to visit and camp!
I have never been glamping, but I do like the idea. I think they're too very different things though, and just bc glamping exists.. i don't think people will stop camping. if I want to be a little more comfy while still enjoying nature and the outdoors, i'd love to glamp.. but generally we're backpacking.. and it's just a different type of fun. 🙂
I would be totally up for luxury camping…I am definitely NOT one for the outdoors and 'proper' camping, lol!
I with you. I love rustic camping. Kids running around, getting so filthy dirty and ending the day around a campfire. There is something so fun about it. I'm not sure glamping is my style.
I'm definitely a candidate for luxury camping. I don't like "real" camping at all! I can't understand why someone would actually WANT to have no electricity!
I like both. I miss the traditional camping, but having some comforts can be nice.
What a fun looking time for kids! "Glamping" was a new term to me. Glad I know what it means now. lol
I have never been properly camping before but I think for me camping in a Tent would be fun and close to nature but I am not sure how long I would last.
I think i still would go old school camping. Glamping would also be ok to encourage more kids to do the outdoors.
I am not a camping person. I really hate dealing with bugs, but glamping sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I have been camping. I have never been glamping. I must admit I am sure glamping would win.
These pictures are adorable indeed. I would love to and have loved to rough it. It is a great experience for children too. When we go camping it is with just a tent in the woods around here. It is so much for the kids. Thanks for sharing.
What a cute post and am not really into camping, but prefer some realistic comforts like a warm shower
I love camping (and what they call glamping). We have an rv and love to take it on road trips and camping!
