AD: This is a toy review. We were sent the plush Baby Shark toys from Wowee in return for this review. All opinions are our own.
If you have a child in your house, there’s a 90 per cent possibility that if I started singing the line “Bayyyybeeeee Shark, doo doo doo do do do”, you’d join in. Pink Fong’s Baby Shark song took over our house quite a while back and we were all singing it as much as we currently sing Shotgun by George Ezra. It’s impossibly catchy and Hero watches Pink Fong’s version on the iPad and dances along to it.
We were sent two Baby Shark range plushies – a large yellow Baby Shark and a blue, cube like Daddy Shark. Both are extremely well made, solidly plush with beautiful details with a little tag attached to them, telling you who they are, and when pressed…they play the SONG! Imagine the joy on my boys’ faces when they could bop around the house singing and hugging their favourite sharks!
There’s no real debate here – if you have Baby Shark fans in your house, these are the toys for them – we’ve also bought a few of the little cube sharks for Hero’s friends this birthday party season – to, you know – share the Baby Shark love!
We must have been through about 10 play tents and houses since Jensen was born – and none of them has lasted very long sadly. We lose the poles, the poles are too thin and break, or they’ve been some kind of metal flexible frame that’s warped and we’ve given up. Or, even worse, they’ve been…

The weather wasn’t too bad today but after bouncing up and down on the trampoline for about half an hour, I bribed the boys indoors with the lure of a new puzzle before I ended up collapsing. There’s…
The BEST anti-squabbling parcel was waiting on our doorstep if you saw out Insta-Stories yesterday as we finished the school run for the penultimate time this half term – the NEW Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Season 3! Our Jones Family Hatchtopia grew by more Hatchimals than we thought this time though – take a look! You can…
So once again I decided to hand over the writing of the gift guide to the hopeful recipient of the gifts – our seven year old, Jens. His taste has changed again this year quite drastically as he’s discovered how amazing science and technology are and I’m a little teary about how fast he’s growing…
I’m a confirmed baby wearer, for a myriad of reasons – and despite being bought the most beautiful pram when Jensen Indiana was born, I just never got used to using one. I cringed when I caught people’s ankles, got frustrated when people on foot cut in front of me and I huffed and puffed…
We LOVE board games. So much that we’ve started seriously investing in them as a family and have quite a collection. Sadly for Hero, the games we play are usually too difficult for him and although we try to include him, he gets bored. We’ve been sent the Funny Bunny Board Game to see how…
