AD: This is a toy review. We were sent the plush Baby Shark toys from Wowee in return for this review. All opinions are our own.
If you have a child in your house, there’s a 90 per cent possibility that if I started singing the line “Bayyyybeeeee Shark, doo doo doo do do do”, you’d join in. Pink Fong’s Baby Shark song took over our house quite a while back and we were all singing it as much as we currently sing Shotgun by George Ezra. It’s impossibly catchy and Hero watches Pink Fong’s version on the iPad and dances along to it.
We were sent two Baby Shark range plushies – a large yellow Baby Shark and a blue, cube like Daddy Shark. Both are extremely well made, solidly plush with beautiful details with a little tag attached to them, telling you who they are, and when pressed…they play the SONG! Imagine the joy on my boys’ faces when they could bop around the house singing and hugging their favourite sharks!
There’s no real debate here – if you have Baby Shark fans in your house, these are the toys for them – we’ve also bought a few of the little cube sharks for Hero’s friends this birthday party season – to, you know – share the Baby Shark love!
As my boys get older, I worry more about their sense of self worth, their confidence – their mental health. Before I know it, gone will be the days when they are worrying about whether little Johnny is going to give back the toy they’ve been playing with at preschool – and their troubles will…
The Shopkins and Shoppies with their colourful and glittery accessories are a huge love for my boys. Despite finding them in every girls’ section of toy catalogues, they hunt them out and continually add them to birthday and Christmas [and Halloween last year, when they had little Shopkins in pumpkin containers] list they can. We…
Finally, it’s here – my boys are old enough to want to play board games at the weekends – and just in time for Autumn, hot chocolate and pumpkin muffins too. Haha. Seriously. I’m so happy – and although I hate wishing their childhoods away, I remember playing board games with my parents and it…
This week the boys have been reviewing a toy that I wish I’d had when I was younger – except these never existed, and my own as a child was a market barrow [I attribute my love of public speaking to this toy] that I heckled my family with and tried to sell them plastic tomatoes for 50p a…
Despite getting ridiculously excited over the new Christmas and Hallowe’en scented candles in our local garden centre, I have to confess that I have had my head in the sand – or the candle wax even – when it comes to buying candles for relaxing with at home. Fantastically, the very cheery team at The…
We’ve been looking for more unusual gifts for our Valentines this year – and we’re delighted to bring two very unique little surprises to you from the really lovely people at BEEcycle. Founded in 2007, BEEcycle’s philosophy is one that we completely endorse in our family – they want to teach the generation about recycling,…
