AD: This is a toy review. We were sent the plush Baby Shark toys from Wowee in return for this review. All opinions are our own.
If you have a child in your house, there’s a 90 per cent possibility that if I started singing the line “Bayyyybeeeee Shark, doo doo doo do do do”, you’d join in. Pink Fong’s Baby Shark song took over our house quite a while back and we were all singing it as much as we currently sing Shotgun by George Ezra. It’s impossibly catchy and Hero watches Pink Fong’s version on the iPad and dances along to it.
We were sent two Baby Shark range plushies – a large yellow Baby Shark and a blue, cube like Daddy Shark. Both are extremely well made, solidly plush with beautiful details with a little tag attached to them, telling you who they are, and when pressed…they play the SONG! Imagine the joy on my boys’ faces when they could bop around the house singing and hugging their favourite sharks!
There’s no real debate here – if you have Baby Shark fans in your house, these are the toys for them – we’ve also bought a few of the little cube sharks for Hero’s friends this birthday party season – to, you know – share the Baby Shark love!
I love a good pegboard. When it comes to celebrating, we say it with pegboards in this family. And now it’s getting close to Christmas, I was mesmerised when I saw Lite Brite on TV. Basic Fun, the people behind Lite Brite, sent us the Lite Brite Classic set to try out and see what…
It’s a very rare occasion indeed that I’m surprised by anything. At nearly 36 (eek) years old and the momma to two (I’m still grinning like a Cheshire cat when I say that) boys, there is very little for me to be surprised by. I know all about Father Christmas, the Easter Bunny and company,…
When we headed out on holiday to Wales, we took a few toys with us – ones that would keep the boys occupied in the evenings. The Bob the Builder Mash and Mold Construction Site was top of our list – and I’m so glad we packed it because it was out at least 4…
This 5 minute fun post is collaborative – we’ve been gifted a 6 month subscription to CBeebies magazine for our time. “Just give me five minutes!” It’s never 5 minute fun time – always five minute wait-for-mommy-to-finish-time. Generally because they never stop talking to me and so I barely get an opportunity to think clearly, or…
There are three types of cold in our house. My (Momma) colds, Man Colds and Baby Colds. I’m not sure which one causes me the most pain (I’m praying The Mister isn’t reading this) but the one that worries me the most, and causes me sleepless nights, is the baby cold. In late December 2010,…
One of my favourite childhood songs growing up and hearing my mom and dad’s music playing on the tape recorder was by Glenn Campbell. The lyrics were, “You’ve got to try a little kindness, just show a little kindness. Yes, shine your light for everyone to see. And if you’ll try a little kindness then you’ll overlook the…
