WAX LYRICAL YVONNE ELLEN COLLECTION GIVEAWAY

I remember visiting Wax Lyrical when I was a teenager with my Mom at Merryhill Shopping Centre in the West Midlands. I’d never seen anything like it and I spent all of my part-time wages between there and the Body Shop – everything was so beautiful and smelled amazing and Mom and I would walk around the shop oohing and ahhing at the different designs and smells – and the way everything was wrapped so beautifully to carry home.
This week, whilst we’re away in Disneyland Paris [Eeeek!] I’ve teamed up with Wax Lyrical to offer you the chance to have some of their loveliness in your home from their new collection with Yvonne Ellen.
Yvonne Ellen is a British Designer [hooray!] who loves Bone Chine [much like me]. This collection is beautiful both in terms of design but also smell. I’ve worked hard to find reasons to save the boxes because they’re just so amazingly gorgeous.
The collection is made up of four scents –
- Exotic Fig
- Tranquil Tide
- Vintage Palm
- Wild Jasmine
and there are an assortment of candles, votive candles and diffusers.
Exotic Fig features a pink tropical bird [excuse my lack of bird knowledge] and a silvery, grey holder, and exudes a delicious scent of sandalwood; Tranquil Tide was always going to be a hit with me – I adore the herby scent of it – and dolphins on the packaging!
Vintage Palm is my favourite. The citrus blend smell and featuring cheetahs on the design, it has a dusty pink container which looks amazing in my bedroom – and finally there’s Wild Jasmine’s oud and jasmins scent which the boys adore – and also because it has giraffes and is midnight blue, which apparently should be in their room.
Each of the collections features little gold accents which makes everything feel so special, and we’re quite in love with everything. I love the diffusers because it means I worry less about having a naked flame in the house and we can enjoy the smell constantly, and the little votive set I’ve saved for Mom’s birthday. Now I’ll know if she actually reads my blog or just pretends to, haha!

I love the diffusers as well Each evening I take out the sticks and sprinkle bits of the liquid into a room before putting them back the opposite way round.
