Warwick Castle Knight’s Village
Hey, friends! If you love visiting castles like us, you’ll know how amazing Warwick Castle is. What you might not know though, is that tucked away inside Warwick Castle’s huge grounds lies the Warwick Castle Knight’s Village, where you can stay overnight and enjoy the castle’s attractions – whilst banqueting and having a few lessons in becoming a Knight at the same time! It was an amazing experience that the boys LOVED [and so did I]. We’ve got photos to share, but thought you’d like our video to see what it’s all about!
Warwick Castle invite us to stay with them as we were ambassadors for the attraction, but I know the boys would love to go again – and so would I! We’ve also stayed in the Kings Tents, so check them out too. It’s hard to say which was better, they were both amazing fun.
Warwick Castle Knight’s Village Accommodation
Below is the view from the balcony at the front of each of the Knights’ Chalets – each building is two family accomodations. We were in one and Granny and Grandad were also invited along to stay in another. Each chalet has a main bedroom which you enter immediately, another bedroom with bunkbeds that pull out to sleep three children, and a bathroom with a really fantastic shower. Inside the main bedroom there are tea making facilities, but all food is available in the banqueting hall in the Knight’s Village.

Knight’s Village Special Activities
One of the best things about staying in the Knight’s Village was the entertainment. In the banquet hall, before dinner each night there was a dinner show fight between two knights which the kids LOVED. We got to chat to some of them outside the hall beforehand to see what they thought their chances were of winning. All of the characters at Warwick Castle have been brilliant at staying in character and interacting with the boys – and being cheeky to me and Gav!
Outside on the grass that runs alongside the river each night there are also activities for the children. Our boys took a sword fighting class, and were treated to an amazing battle with the biggest axe and sword they had ever seen, and they also had a go at archery. Dotted around the village are also wooden wagons and other pieces for the kids to play on and leap about over. The boys were busy right until bedtime, and were so sad to leave.
