SNAPSHOTS & SCENES [AUGUST 2017]
This month I’ve been busier than ever behind the scenes which often means that I’m not doing a great deal here on our poor blog – and although I’ve picked up Great Scott [my camera] quite a bit to talk about him, I haven’t done a great deal more than take photographs of the tasty…
CORONAVIRUS DIARIES – KEEPING MENTAL ARITHMETIC GOING
Mental Arithmetic. I can still remember the way I felt when I was at school and Friday rolled around, just so I could see how I’d score that week. I haven’t always been brilliant at it, but I guess I’ve always loved maths. When Gav and I met, we spent hours watching Numbers on TV…
National Breastfeeding Week: My Journey (Part I)
It’s National Breastfeeding Week next week. This was me feeding my youngest son when he was less than two weeks old. I love it. My friend and photographer Cristina took this for me when we had our newborn shoot and I will always cherish it. Some of you will be uncomfortable looking at it, some…
HANDBAGS, GLADRAGS, CRABS & LOBSTERS [FAMILY BRUNCH]
Spring is here – and that means better weather, seasonal fruit and vegetables changing from the starchy roots to the lighter salads, and the chance to eat outdoors. NOTHING IS ORDINARY: A FIRST PLASTER
We had a first today. It was unexpected and not the nicest of firsts, but not the worst either. This muddy, strawberry stained little face took a tumble. But that wasn’t his first. Baby Hero needed [according to a little talk between him and Granny] a plaster for his little scratch on his knee. Scraping…
Aww! Bless him! What a lovely photo!
The prices are ridiculous aren't they! I always still get them though x
Thank you! I know I'm turning into a real parent when I complain about the price of things like this 😉 I'll always buy them too – the subjects are too cute!
That's actually a really lovely first photo. Unfortunately we never got P1s as she moved school just before they had them at her old school then was on holiday for the new school ones. Oooops.
Thank you Jodie – and I'm sorry you never got a photo 🙁 There are plenty of years left for them though – I hope P1 loves her new school?
