AD: This is a toy review. We were sent the plush Baby Shark toys from Wowee in return for this review. All opinions are our own.
If you have a child in your house, there’s a 90 per cent possibility that if I started singing the line “Bayyyybeeeee Shark, doo doo doo do do do”, you’d join in. Pink Fong’s Baby Shark song took over our house quite a while back and we were all singing it as much as we currently sing Shotgun by George Ezra. It’s impossibly catchy and Hero watches Pink Fong’s version on the iPad and dances along to it.
We were sent two Baby Shark range plushies – a large yellow Baby Shark and a blue, cube like Daddy Shark. Both are extremely well made, solidly plush with beautiful details with a little tag attached to them, telling you who they are, and when pressed…they play the SONG! Imagine the joy on my boys’ faces when they could bop around the house singing and hugging their favourite sharks!
There’s no real debate here – if you have Baby Shark fans in your house, these are the toys for them – we’ve also bought a few of the little cube sharks for Hero’s friends this birthday party season – to, you know – share the Baby Shark love!
The Crate Creatures were sent to us for the purposes of an honest review. We already have our own Crate Creatures bought with our own money also. Click here for our Toy Review Catalogue to read our reviews before you buy! This birthday, Jens asked Granny for a Crate Creature. His name was Blizz and…
Last month, we really enjoyed reviewing Ticket to Ride: First Journey as part of the Blogger Board Game Club, and this month we were sent two games to try. I’ll admit [ashamedly] that I looked at both of them and it felt like a bit of a let-down compared to the excitement we had opening…
When I was little, there were two options for building what you wanted. I’m pretty sure you can guess what the first one was, and there were also Stickle Bricks. We had LOTS of them in our house. Stickle Bricks appeared first in 1969 and disappeared from the market it seemed when Jens was born,…
We were sent some Twisty Petz packs from Spinmaster for the purposes of this review. Twisty Petz first came into our home last year as a little goody bag freebie from the BlogOn conference. It’s a tradition that as I get home so late from Manchester on that Sunday, I sort the goody bags out…
This week we’ve been on Summer holiday and playing with the Fuzzikins Campervan Carrycase. It’s a craft/toy playset for little people centred around the world of Fuzzikins, which remind me of larger, simpler Sylvanian Families from my childhood – except that you can colour them in yourself, designing your own characters. I wish I’d had…
The Shopkins and Shoppies with their colourful and glittery accessories are a huge love for my boys. Despite finding them in every girls’ section of toy catalogues, they hunt them out and continually add them to birthday and Christmas [and Halloween last year, when they had little Shopkins in pumpkin containers] list they can. We…
