This weekend was delicious and stomach churning in equal measure as we visited Cafe Rouge in Stratford Upon Avon with the boys to sample their new children’s menu. I love Shakespeare’s County – I grew up there, ate ice cream with my American penfriend [of some 34 years now!] whilst they were on their tour…
This weekend we decided to take advantage of the National Trust’s free weekend promotion and we headed out into the sunshine and the beautiful, romantic surroundings of Mottisfont House. We met Nanny and Grandad down there as they’re National Trust members and like a wander around Mottisfont at the weekend. The first stop was the…
It feels like a lifetime ago – yet only seven days ago I was in the midst of experiencing several small panicking sessions as it seemed train after train was late or cancelled as I tried desperately to make my way to London Euston. The last panic of the trip came when the trusted Waterloo…
The single best thing, next to sleeping under the stars completely, about camping is the cooking on a plancha grill. Or rather, the eating. There’s nothing like freshly barbecued fare – even if you need to scorch the campsite grass in the process. I know my mum used to dread camp cooking when we were…

Usually, Thursday afternoons are filled with playing The naughty hyena in the Lion Guard and trying to be on time for the school run. Last Thursday however, was quite different as I was invited to sail onboard Blue Box Experiences’ breathtakingly beautiful Betsie Jane for a Gin Tasting Cruise with Red Letter Days along the…
Now if camping was like this I would totally be into it. What a wonderful way to camp, enjoy the outdoors and not sleep on the ground LOL.
I am definitely a glamper! Haha! I love it when we last went glamping that my husband got a Queen mattress and even side tables to fit in our large 12-person tent. It was awesome!
So….this looks absolutely amazing. I don't like camping but I can definitely get into the habit of glamping. Your photos are great as always!
I want to take the grand kids glamping. When my kids were small I took them camping but I'm a bit too old for the inconveniences of that.
I heard about glamping before but we always choose the traditional way of camping. We might give this a try.
This looks and sound absolutely amazing. Heard a lot about clamping, but never tried it with my family. Maybe this year is the time.
The kid are adorable! I haven't tried glamping but I sure would love to try.
I am a definite glamper rather than camping…this looks like a lovely place and your photos look amazing.
Oh wow these look amazing!!! We're yet to go glamping as a three although I'm sure 5 year old POD would love it. These look superb, love the South of France too.
