THE SNOWMAN AND THE SNOWDOG: STARRING JENSEN JONES [REVIEW]
Some books are timeless, beautiful and touch your heart whatever age you are. When you’re little though, it’s even better to see your own name in print, on those special pages.
Penwizard gifted us a personalised book of the Snowdog and the Snowman which we decided to in turn give to Jensen this coming Christmas. As he’s reading now, we know he’s going to be completely on cloud nine, reading a story about himself, as he recently discovered a dusty old copy of a personalised book from his dad’s collection as a child and was excited reading a book his own dad had starred in.
We were able to customise the illustrations to best match Jensen – blond hair, cropped; fair skin and we decided on pink pyjamas as they made the pictures pop just that little bit more. His first and last names were included and we also wrote a special message to him on the introductory page. It’s a beautiful, well made book with great care taken over the extra details – and Jensen will treasure it for years to come, hopefully passing it to his children as his dad has with his old books.
