Since our long haul holiday was cancelled due to the current pandemic, let’s just say that holiday time has been on my mind…a lot. As Winter is creeping closer, all I can think about are making memories away from home – probably because we’ve been at home for the past 8 months – and the…
With sun-flushed cheeks and grass-scattered hair, knocking scuffed sandal toes with our friends as we swung about on the chipped, yellow pudding bowl climbing frame outside our house, every Summer we waited. As soon as we heard it, we’d scramble from our metal perches and race to our doorstep, heads craned sideways to yell through…
Last weekend we visited the woods where I walked with my parents when I was just a little one myself. Conkering in the splendour of the jewelled Autumn leaves, wandering in the sparkling snowdrifts in my insulated navy blue moonboots, the woods were, and still are, magical for me. My boys love the woods too. Freedom,…
It feels so real now… It’s time to pack my labour bag! Okay, it’s definitely past the time I’m supposed to have packed my bag (40 weeks tomorrow) but I thought I’d share what I like to pack – when I was pregnant with Jensen I had no real idea and ended up taking so…
My kids would love to visit this!! That looks like an amazing place to visit and camp!
I have never been glamping, but I do like the idea. I think they're too very different things though, and just bc glamping exists.. i don't think people will stop camping. if I want to be a little more comfy while still enjoying nature and the outdoors, i'd love to glamp.. but generally we're backpacking.. and it's just a different type of fun. 🙂
I would be totally up for luxury camping…I am definitely NOT one for the outdoors and 'proper' camping, lol!
I with you. I love rustic camping. Kids running around, getting so filthy dirty and ending the day around a campfire. There is something so fun about it. I'm not sure glamping is my style.
I'm definitely a candidate for luxury camping. I don't like "real" camping at all! I can't understand why someone would actually WANT to have no electricity!
I like both. I miss the traditional camping, but having some comforts can be nice.
What a fun looking time for kids! "Glamping" was a new term to me. Glad I know what it means now. lol
I have never been properly camping before but I think for me camping in a Tent would be fun and close to nature but I am not sure how long I would last.
I think i still would go old school camping. Glamping would also be ok to encourage more kids to do the outdoors.
I am not a camping person. I really hate dealing with bugs, but glamping sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I have been camping. I have never been glamping. I must admit I am sure glamping would win.
These pictures are adorable indeed. I would love to and have loved to rough it. It is a great experience for children too. When we go camping it is with just a tent in the woods around here. It is so much for the kids. Thanks for sharing.
What a cute post and am not really into camping, but prefer some realistic comforts like a warm shower
I love camping (and what they call glamping). We have an rv and love to take it on road trips and camping!
