Last weekend, we had the pleasure of travelling to London to spend time in the company of the terribly talented, award-winning author and illustrator duo, Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre. They’re collaborators of some of our favourite stories, including their newest book, Jinks & O’Hare Funfair Repair. We were in fact awaiting our delivery of that…
Due to all of the goings on in our family, we decided to celebrate my birthday over this weekend instead. My boys [the Cook Bros.] baked me the most glittery, chocolate heart covered, delicious birthday cake ever and presented me with sweet flowers and a card. They were highly secret about everything for as long…
It’s almost May and in a couple of weeks, we are off to the Baby Show in Birmingham – do you want to go too? Well, you’re in luck if you do because we have two pairs of tickets to give away so that you have more shopping money to buy things for your little ones with!…
This morning whilst Baby Dragon was napping and our Little Adventurer was playing with Noel, I was editing my long lost Christmas tree chopping photos when I came across a blog which basically said that they felt likeslapping parents that did this kind of thing (traditions on holidays), and who present overly cheerful views of…
Although I adore Hallowe’en, I’m equally as excited about the event that follows it; Bonfire Night. Arguably we’re approaching one of the most dangerous times of the year – and with three boys under five I’m alert to many of the dangers I never considered when I was a child, having fun “oooh”ing and “ahhh”ing…
My kids would love to visit this!! That looks like an amazing place to visit and camp!
I have never been glamping, but I do like the idea. I think they're too very different things though, and just bc glamping exists.. i don't think people will stop camping. if I want to be a little more comfy while still enjoying nature and the outdoors, i'd love to glamp.. but generally we're backpacking.. and it's just a different type of fun. 🙂
I would be totally up for luxury camping…I am definitely NOT one for the outdoors and 'proper' camping, lol!
I with you. I love rustic camping. Kids running around, getting so filthy dirty and ending the day around a campfire. There is something so fun about it. I'm not sure glamping is my style.
I'm definitely a candidate for luxury camping. I don't like "real" camping at all! I can't understand why someone would actually WANT to have no electricity!
I like both. I miss the traditional camping, but having some comforts can be nice.
What a fun looking time for kids! "Glamping" was a new term to me. Glad I know what it means now. lol
I have never been properly camping before but I think for me camping in a Tent would be fun and close to nature but I am not sure how long I would last.
I think i still would go old school camping. Glamping would also be ok to encourage more kids to do the outdoors.
I am not a camping person. I really hate dealing with bugs, but glamping sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I have been camping. I have never been glamping. I must admit I am sure glamping would win.
These pictures are adorable indeed. I would love to and have loved to rough it. It is a great experience for children too. When we go camping it is with just a tent in the woods around here. It is so much for the kids. Thanks for sharing.
What a cute post and am not really into camping, but prefer some realistic comforts like a warm shower
I love camping (and what they call glamping). We have an rv and love to take it on road trips and camping!
