So here in the UK, the Summer holiday has finally arrived WITH sunshine, and we did have a bucket list of sorts. Here are the 20 things we wanted to do this summer! Some are mine, some are the boys’. That accounts for some of them looking a little less fun and a little more…
As a paid-in-full member of the three boys club, my learning curve on superheroes has been rather steep. Pre-Jones Boys, I knew nothing of them aside from that I thought Dean Cain made the best Superman [he really did] and that Michael Keaton was not the most suitable Batman I’d ever seen. What did I…
The single best thing, next to sleeping under the stars completely, about camping is the cooking on a plancha grill. Or rather, the eating. There’s nothing like freshly barbecued fare – even if you need to scorch the campsite grass in the process. I know my mum used to dread camp cooking when we were…
If you read my previous post, you’ll know that SISTERMag AND CEWE made all of my photography dreams come true by inviting me to visit Photokina in Cologne, Germany. The morning after arriving, after terrifying the kindly and patient taxi-driver by persisting with my awful German questioning about the area including attempted sign language to try and…
So, what would we do with three nights where we could just throw the food into the oven and wait? Charlie Bighams challenged us to see how we could spend more time together if we weren’t in the kitchen at dinner time, and gave us three meals that we could simply pop into the oven,…
As a guest of CEWE at Photokina and the SISTERMag event in Cologne, I was completely spoiled. When I walked through the VIP area [I don’t remember being a VIP ever before] I wasn’t prepared for quite how excited I’d be seeing all of the products – everything that could be done with photographs – photo…
My kids would love to visit this!! That looks like an amazing place to visit and camp!
I have never been glamping, but I do like the idea. I think they're too very different things though, and just bc glamping exists.. i don't think people will stop camping. if I want to be a little more comfy while still enjoying nature and the outdoors, i'd love to glamp.. but generally we're backpacking.. and it's just a different type of fun. 🙂
I would be totally up for luxury camping…I am definitely NOT one for the outdoors and 'proper' camping, lol!
I with you. I love rustic camping. Kids running around, getting so filthy dirty and ending the day around a campfire. There is something so fun about it. I'm not sure glamping is my style.
I'm definitely a candidate for luxury camping. I don't like "real" camping at all! I can't understand why someone would actually WANT to have no electricity!
I like both. I miss the traditional camping, but having some comforts can be nice.
What a fun looking time for kids! "Glamping" was a new term to me. Glad I know what it means now. lol
I have never been properly camping before but I think for me camping in a Tent would be fun and close to nature but I am not sure how long I would last.
I think i still would go old school camping. Glamping would also be ok to encourage more kids to do the outdoors.
I am not a camping person. I really hate dealing with bugs, but glamping sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I have been camping. I have never been glamping. I must admit I am sure glamping would win.
These pictures are adorable indeed. I would love to and have loved to rough it. It is a great experience for children too. When we go camping it is with just a tent in the woods around here. It is so much for the kids. Thanks for sharing.
What a cute post and am not really into camping, but prefer some realistic comforts like a warm shower
I love camping (and what they call glamping). We have an rv and love to take it on road trips and camping!
